Extractions
We make simple, surgical, and wisdom tooth extractions affordable for you. We use local anesthesia, nitrous oxide, and oral sedation to make the procedure more comfortable.
What to Expect After Tooth Removal
- Bite gently on a gauze pad, and change pads as they become soaked with blood. Call if you still have bleeding 24 hours after surgery.
- Lying flat may prolong bleeding. Prop up your head with pillows.
- Use an ice pack on the side of your cheeks for the first 24 hours.
- Relax after surgery. Physical activity may increase bleeding.
- Eat soft foods such as pudding, milkshakes, and soup. Gradually add solid foods to your diet as healing progresses.
- Do not use a straw. Sucking can loosen the blood clot and delay healing.
- After the first day, gently rinse your mouth out with warm salt water.
There are three ways to replace teeth: dental implants, bridges, and partial or complete dentures. Ask which may be the best option for you.
